Featuring Speeches by Dr. Rahmanian and Dr. Ghelandari

At an academic session organized by the National Library and Archives of Iran, the book "History of New Civilizational Institutions in Iran" by Hossein Mahboobi Ardakani was introduced. This significant work has been selected as the thirty-fourth title in the Collection of Enduring Century Books in Mordad 1404 (July-August 2025), receiving notable attention.

During the event, Dr. Rahmanian and Dr. Ghelandari presented speeches, elaborating on various dimensions of the book.

In Dr. Ghelandari's speech, in addition to a brief introduction of the Institute for the History of Science, key points regarding the state of the history of science in Iran were discussed. He specifically addressed the encounter of modern sciences with Iran's intellectual and cultural landscape and provided explanations on the formation of educational institutions and the gradual transfer of new scientific structures.

He emphasized the importance of Mahboobi Ardakani's book, describing it as a foundational resource in the history of new civilizational institutions in Iran, adding that many subsequent studies in this field have been built upon this work. His remarks also covered topics such as the institution of schools, educational centers affiliated with military institutions, and structural disruptions across different historical periods.

Dr. Ghelandari further elaborated on Mahboobi Ardakani's historiography style, factors influencing science, and narratives such as the mission of the French delegation during the era of Abbas Mirza, all of which are meticulously examined in this book.
